Inspired by the myth of Pandora, the piece moves between innocence and chaos.

The opening bars evoke a world still untouched, where curiosity begins to stir. Gradually the music thickens and tightens, anticipating the moment Pandora opens the box. The release of the evils arrives as an orchestral climax: disorder, loss of balance.

Towards the end the sound thins out and new timbres emerge to represent hope, faint but persistent, an echo of redemption after the catastrophe.
